A headline in The Mercury … “Property Tax Relief Plan Eliminated” … Shocker! How do the people we pay sleep at night? Like a baby.

Question on Covid. President Biden is telling everyone to get the shots and he has had all of them with the follow-up shots. He wears a mask and everyone around him wears a mask and still he came down with covid. How good are the shots or is he eventually getting a Biden kickback just like son Hunter?

While I have been shocked at the sticker prices of food since Biden and the Democrats took over Washington, DC, in 2021, nothing really brought it home like the price I noticed on the English Muffins I opened this morning(yes, my wife does the shopping). $4.99 for one pack of 6 muffins? Biden and these Democrats have to be stopped from making this worse.

Savonarola, back in the 70’s the “climate fear mongers” had us shivering in our boots about acid rain. It was going to wipe out our grandchildren’s generation because all crops would be killed off leading to worldwide starvation. In 1989 the U.N. predicted that if global warming wasn’t reversed immediately then whole nations would be wiped out by rising sea levels by 2020. You alarmists remind me of Chicken Little.

Dr. Birx, who gave President Trump advice during the Covid mess, has written a “tell-all” book. In the book, the angelic Dr. Birx admits to fudging Covid data and pulling information out of thin air. The 6 ft. social spacing, 15 days to stop the spread, and other numbers were just made up. Worse, early on Birx said a lab leak was unlikely, even though she thought initially that is exactly what it was.

Here is what Democrats think of the price you pay at the pump for gas: “The more pain we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is.” That direct quote is from Democrat Pete Buttigieg, who is Biden’s Transportation Secretary. He hasn’t said he was misquoted or he didn’t mean it, so that is the official position of the Democrat Party in Washington, DC.

Joe Biden July 2021: “Get vaccinated and you won’t get covid or spread it” Joe Biden (who is fully vaccinated and double boosted) July 2022: “This morning I tested positive for covid ” Those vaccines really work great. … not!

Republican Adam Kinzinger sums up radical Republican Sound Offers perfectly: Ladies and gentlemen, particularly my Republican friends, your leaders, by and large, have been lying to you,” Kinzinger said. “They know stuff that’s very different than what they’re telling you. They know the election wasn’t stolen, but they’re going to send out fundraising requests, they’re going to take your money from you, and they’re going to use you to stay in power. You’re being abused.”

The story in The Mercury about the history of battery-powered cars was enlightening. For 100 years, battery-powered cars have attempted to compete with gasoline-powered cars and have fallen woefully short. The only reason that there is a hint of competition today is due to artificially imposed market conditions that are attempting to destroy the fossil fuel industry. Still waiting for John Kerry to board his battery-powered jet.

In 2020, President Trump said we’d need to learn to live with the COVID-19 virus and return to living normally again. Trump’s critics mocked him. Candidate Joe Biden promised he would defeat the virus. Unfortunately, President Biden’s mask and vaccine mandates failed and even more people died than on Trump’s watch. Now even Biden is infected, and his medical experts admit we need to live with COVID-19. Biden promise made, Biden promise broken!

To do is to be – Socrates. To be is to do – Plato. Do be do be do – Sinatra.

Can’t make this stuff up! Biden goes begging for oil and comes back with the “Covid”! Brandon can’t beg without messing it up! Obama was correct “Joe can #$%^& up anything”! Last Wednesday, Biden said he has cancer, then Covid and next will be monkeypox — anything to keep Brandon in hiding! And Kamalaaaaaaaaaa is saying “Go Joe Go” as the moving vans are being loaded for the move to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!

A story on the front page of The Mercury nauseated me. Good gosh. Man stabs and kills his “boyfriend.” We are a sick culture. I guess it is true though that knives and cars kill more people than assault rifles.

By the time this Sound Off goes to print, there’s a very good chance that inflation will be higher than Joe Biden’s approval rating.

Repeatedly comments are posted that President Trump is going to jail or that he has broken the law. More often, Democrats like Adam Schiff or their lapdogs Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger say the same thing. The problem is they never say what law he has broken or show a shred of evidence of the supposed crime he has committed. One of these liars should state the law and then list the direct evidence.

Watching the political ads for New Jersey’s “Smiley Mehmet” Oz, it seems there are a few things missing. A straw hat, a cane, and tap dance shoes would fit right in with his act.

January 6 — What did Trump do to stop the insurrection? Watch television and watch the reruns? Just like a coward! That’s why they call him The ConMan.

Instead of sending those thieves in Ukraine heavy guns and planes costing us billions of dollars, send the white flags to end this so-called war and stop the unnecessary killing of children. All the Russians want is the territory that has Russian people in it.

Won’t it be funny when they find the missing Secret Service texts on Hunter Biden’s laptop?

No one ever said if you take the vaccine you can’t get the virus. They said you won’t end up in the hospital. Another lie, the economy is bad. Companies are begging for workers and paying 15 dollars to start.

Chuck Draksler, nuclear power plants are being built, at a cost of $9 Billion for an 1100 megawatt unit, while a gas-fired plant costs $1.3 Billion for a 620-megawatt unit. Also, what to do with the spent fuel rods? As for a flat tax rate, studies show they are harmful to lower-income people. Missy Miss, I was wondering when one of Barney’s friends would be assigned to attack Patricia. Do Da.

If it weren’t for Trump winning in 2016, Americans would never have known just how dirty the Democrats really are.

Homeland Secretary Mayorkas claims “the southern border is secure.” I wonder when he last visited our southern border? Just another outright liar of the Biden administration. Unbelievable how they can look people straight in the face and tell such whopping lies. I guess it must come from having told so many lies over the years. Anyone with half a brain knows the border is not secure.

Watching the morning TV about the home run contest proves that my thoughts about baseball being too slow should be considered. My thought is a baseball must be pitched within 10 seconds; the batter must be prepared or it’s an automatic strike. They hit HRs every few seconds, not needing 2 minutes to adjust their glove and their grip, feel themselves up, and take 10 practice swings to prepare to miss the next pitch.

John Fetterman made the front page of The Mercury because Democrat Fetterman is trying to campaign as Joe Biden did in 2020 — hiding in his basement. Don’t be fooled, Fetterman is more radical than Bernie Sanders, and he is dangerous. He armed himself with a shotgun and chased down a Black man jogging by his house. And don’t believe his lies about buying the senate seat, Fetterman is the one with all the money.

Mary was the wife of Joseph and the Mother of Jesus. She was not the Birther of Jesus. It would be blasphemous to call Mary a birther. I am thankful I had a mother, not a birther. No other name should replace the name “mother” of any female that has given birth to a child! I am proud to be called “old fashion”. Just glad I am not woke.

Why does the radio always stop playing music to say they play non-stop music? Asking for a friend.
